PRIVACY POLICIES AND COOKIES STATEMENT


Tripltrip SAS, a company incorporated under French law, operates a platform via its mobile applications or online sites (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform"), providing its users (hereinafter referred to as the "User(s)") with travel and leisure information and services (hereinafter referred to as "Services") from the member hotels (hereinafter referred to as the "Hotels") using its Platform.
This Privacy and Cookies Statement (the "Statement") describes our policy for collecting and processing information about you (the "Personal Data"). By consulting our Platform on the internet or on our mobile applications, on a computer, mobile phone, tablet or any other device (hereinafter referred to as a "Device"), you acknowledge that you have read this Statement and accept its terms.

1. COLLECTION AND PROCESSING

When you use our Services, we collect Personal Data from you in order to meet the functional requirements of the Platform.
Personal Data may include the following information:
- Contact details such as your surname, first name, email address and mobile phone number;
- User name (your email address) and password;
- Data relating to your trips made via our Platform to one of the Hotels: date of stay, amount spent, discount granted, currency used, special benefits granted;
- History of your stays in the Hotels;
- Information relating to your membership of our Platform (start date and end date of membership);
- Data relating to the Device (e.g. unique identifier, preferred language);
- Communications with our support service, including documents and photographs forming part of these communications.

2. USE

We collect your Personal Data in order to provide you with our Services in the most relevant manner:
- To manage your account and give you access to all of our Services;
- To facilitate your stays in the Hotels and provide you with the advantages linked to our Platform;
- To set up promotions, games, competitions or other events leading to rewards in any form;
- For analysis purposes in order to improve our Platform and Services;
- To personalise our Services and inform you of special offers or other information from the Hotels;
- To improve communication with you and the Hotels and to enable you to contact our support service in the event of a problem with, or query on our Platform;
- To comply with applicable laws and regulations, meet legal requirements and protect our rights;
- To prevent any fraud or illicit activity when using our Services.

3. SHARING AND CHOICE

In order to provide our Services, we may use external service providers and share your Personal Data with these third parties, as set out below:
- Suppliers (in particular our database hosts): we share your Personal Data with external service providers for the purpose of providing our Services. Service providers may also be involved in providing us with tools to improve our Services, in particular for the support service. These service providers intervene solely to carry out our processing operations. We have a contractual relationship with each of them for them to act on our behalf as data processors;
- Business partners: we share information about you with the Hotels in order to facilitate each stay in a member Hotel. This forms part of a commercial agreement between our company and each Hotel. We do not control the privacy policies of each Hotel.

If necessary, we reserve the right to share your Personal Data in response to a specific request from a court or other competent legal authority, to protect our rights or your rights under our Terms of Use, to defend against legal claims, to take action against illegal activity, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or divestiture.
Some operating systems on your Device allow you to choose how you share your Personal Data. These functionalities are accessible in the settings of your Device. Disabling a particular type of tracking may partially or completely affect the operation of our Services.

You can access the "your profile" page on the Platform to choose the information you wish to share with us, some of which is optional. Please note that we do not collect geolocation data.

4. SECURITY

The implementation of solid security procedures enables us to be very vigilant in the protection of Personal Data. Our employees only have access to your Personal Data for legitimate business purposes. We use a number of technologies, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems, to ensure that only authorised persons have access to your Personal Data. However, we cannot guarantee the security of Personal Data in the event of unauthorised access or use, breakdowns or other circumstances beyond our control.

5. INFORMATION ON CHILDREN

Our Services are not offered directly to children under the age of 18. Personal Data pertaining to children (via their parent’s or guardian’s membership) will only be processed with the consent of their parents or legal guardian.

6. CONSERVATION AND DELETION

Your Personal Data is saved for as long as your account is open and for as long as is necessary to use our Services in accordance with the Statement.
You may also decide on the "your profile" page to request the deletion of your account. If you request the deletion of your account, it will be disabled. We may keep certain Personal Data associated with your account which will have been rendered anonymous, for internal purposes, such as statistics, dispute management for or any legal obligation requiring us to do so.

7. COOKIES

We use cookies or similar technologies for the proper functioning of our Services.
A cookie is a small text file that is automatically copied to your Device when you visit a website. It is stored by your browser and contains basic information about your use of the Internet. Your browser uses this cookie each time you visit a linked website in order to recognise your Device and improve your use of our Services. We may also use tracking technologies such as SDKs or server logs, which behave in the same way. In particular, they are used to store your connection identifiers so that you do not have to re-enter them each time you connect.
You can configure your cookies at any time by clicking on "Cookie management" and saving your preferences. If you refuse some of our cookies, certain Services will be presented to you in a downgraded mode.

8. AMENDMENTS

We reserve the right to modify the Statement at any time. The Statement in force is that which appears on the Platform at the time of its consultation and use.
In the event of any changes that we consider to be significant, we will inform you either by email or by means of a notice on the Platform.

9. SPECIFIC INFORMATION UNDER THE GPDR

The Statement is supplemented by this article under the GPDR, which applies to persons in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.

Your rights under GDPR are as follows:
- The right to access and request a copy of your Personal Data;
- The right to correct your Personal Data in the event of an error;
- The right to limit, object to and delete your Personal Data if it is no longer necessary for the proper functioning of the Services, if it is processed unlawfully or if you withdraw your consent to their use unless there are compelling legitimate grounds;
- The right of portability of your Personal Data so that it can be sent to a third party, where possible;
- The right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority in your country.
Your Personal Data may lawfully be transferred to and stored in countries outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom in accordance with applicable law and with the measures described in the Statement.
